Lasse's sculptural objects

Lasse Kinnunen's sculptural objects feature wood and craftsmanship.

The material for these objects often comes from Lasse's store of timber offcuts put aside from his furniture making. He uses the limitations imposed by the quantity and shapes of the left-over pieces, creating an assemblage that appears as if the design of the sculpture precedes material choice. These objects are both functional and decorative.

For made-to-order works he liases with the customer about the size and material and then searches for suitable wood from which to craft a unique sculpture.
