Lasse's wall sculptures

Lasse Kinnunen's wall sculptures accentuate the beauty of wood as an interior element.

The material for these sculptures often comes from Lasse's store of timber offcuts put aside from his furniture making. He uses the limitations imposed by the quantity and shapes of the left-over pieces, creating an assemblage that appears as if the design of the sculpture precedes material choice. For made-to-order works he liases with the customer about the size and material and then searches for suitable wood from which to craft a unique sculpture.

Lasse also makes other sculptural objects, such as bowls and dishes, in a similar manner, utilising beautiful wood.
