The exhibition is part of the Parallel Program of the Fiskars Village Art & Design Biennale and is open until 15 September.
Origins is an evolving collection of unique furniture and objects by Lasse Kinnunen. Working between Finland and Australia, Lasse produces handcrafted works that feature local timbers and stainless steel. Drawing on the beauty of an individual piece of timber and melding steel details such as his custom-made handles and hinges, these pieces bridge the divide between craft labour and contemporary design.
