In Australia free pick up from our Eagle Farm workshop for all our furniture and other items. 

Delivery costs are not included in any furniture or product prices listed on this website. A quotation for delivery costs will be provided on request. For furniture deliveries within Brisbane and south-east Queensland Deka Design will generally deliver and/or install the items ourselves. For transport outside this region we can assist the customer to arrange transport for our furniture all around Australia using third party transport companies. Transport costs vary significantly depending on your delivery postcode so please contact us directly at for a quotation or estimate. Deka Design will not take responsibility for third party transport companies, couriers or postage services. We will assist the customer by providing a selection of transport options but Deka Design will not order the transport company's services, this needs to be done by the customer. If you use the shipping calculator online please use it as a guide only.

Deka Design recommends that at the time of ordering the customer takes out insurance against loss or damage during shipmnent. This type of insurance is not expensive in relation to the investment in one of our furniture pieces. A quote from the transport company for insurance will be passed on to the customer with the quotation for shipping.

Shipping terms:

The customer accepts that they are liable for payment of all delivery charges, including any additional charges incurred as a result of difficulties with access during delivery or return of couriered or posted items due to non-delivery. The customer must ensure correct delivery address details are provided to us and for furniture delivery they must notify us in advance if there will be difficulties accessing the delivery address eg stairs, as this will affect delivery prices.

For shipping around Australia we use third party transport companies and are not responsible for damage or loss to the items being delivered. It is an option for the customer to take out insurance. Products will only be delivered if a person is able to accept delivery is at the delivery address. Should an appropriate person not be available to accept delivery on the pre-arranged delivery date, the customer will be charged for any transport and re-delivery costs. The customer is responsible for ensuring there is adequate access and entry to the site to allow the delivery of the products. If delivery cannot be made, the customer will need to arrange, at their own expense, an alternative time with the transport company for re-delivery.
